Eggs and Cheese

Deviled Eggs

Eggs and cheeses are versatile and economical sources of many nutritious dishes, either alone or as ingredients. This section will list some recipes for using eggs and cheese either alone or as a primary ingredient.

Eggs can be boiled, baked, poached, and fried. They can be scrambled, or sunny side up, or over easy, medium, or hard or made into an omelet or a soufflé. They can be separated and the whites and yolks used differently. And the best part is that you can learn all these methods while fixing delicious food at the same time!

The first lesson in our Tutorials teaches you how to make hard boiled eggs, soft boiled eggs, and coddled eggs.

This section will focus on recipes. In some cases, you will be linked to another section, because, for example, an egg salad can be eaten as a salad or made into a sandwich.

Of course, eggs and cheese are often combined in the same dish; a cheese omelet is a perfect example. We'll explore many ways to use these two staples in a variety of recipes.
