Bread Even though Cooking Dude is kind of a low-carb guy, there are times when a meal just needs some good bread. So even though there aren't very many recipes here yet, you can expect more to be added on a regular basis. Most markets have a good selection of bread, and for your sandwiches just shop around and find what you like. You can bake your own bread, especially if you have a bread maker. And nothing makes the place smell better than freshly baked bread. (Well, roasting garlic ain't so bad...) Anyhow, here we'll add some things you can try that you
might not find on your own. Modify them if you want. For example, cornbread
(shown in the photo) is
good so many ways you could try adding new stuff every batch: corn kernels,
shredded cheese, jalapeño pieces, even chopped pecans. Don't be afraid; if it's
so bad you have to eat it with a spoon I'll bet it still tastes great! For a real treat, try my recipe for Beignets! These little Creole doughnuts with your coffee make any morning special. Beignets
